Wanted: information on fruit producing pomegranates, growing in NC,SC,GA,AL,VA,KY,TN

I'm in search of a cold hardy pomegranate, that consistently produces sweet soft seeded fruit in humid areas, like my city  of Fayetteville, North Carolina. This may be a difficult task, but with over 1000 varieties of pomegranates, I'm sure that there is a variety that fits this description. I decided while trying locate this variety, that I would share my findings with other fans of the pomegranate.
